Paddle the Whakapapa River in 2 Man Inflatable Kayaks. Stunning views – The crystal clear waters descend from Mt Ruapehu (Tongariro National Park) and flow onto the majestic Whanganui River. Its river edge is surrounded by native New Zealand forest.

Blue ducks (Whio) swim the stream & mate for life. We have the highest density population of Whio in this area in the whole of our country. This Guided tour is a Fun, Half Day Adventure – Paddle your own boat! Be prepared to get wet & laugh alot! The boats are a cross between a kayak and a raft. They offer the maneuverability of a kayak and the stability of a raft making them virtually impossible to tip over. They slide over and around rocks following the natural flow of the water. They are Heaps of Fun! Be In control of your own boat, its just like rafting only your the one doing the work! The rapids are grade 2-3 – Not too big & not too small. Heaps of fun, Any one can do this! White water rafting at its Best!
