Education Outside the Classroom –

Full packages include accommodation, catering, adventure activities, safety logistics & management. AMP & RAMMS provided.

Adventure outdoors have been working with school groups for over 15 years. We pride ourselves in offering safe & memorable experiences for our NZ youth.

Let us organize all safety, logistics & management requirements. We provide all necessary documentation required by the BOT & Education department. Adventure Outdoors is an approved Adventure Activities provider & are safety audit approved through Skills Active New Zealand.

Tongariro Alpine Crossing – Guided Walk for Geography Field trips. (Summer & Winter)

Caving – Tongariro Forest – A fun adventure underground.

Kayaking – White Water & Beginners (Lakes & Rivers) Whanganui & Whakapapa

White water rafting – Tongariro River (Grade 3)

Education Outdoors – Bush-craft / Navigation / Bonfires / Cooking outdoors

Safety / Planning / Logistics & Management

Based in the Tongariro National Park – All activities are guided; We offer a safety management service to assist your Team in managing your programs. We assist with pre-trip planning / safety doc’s AMP / RAMMS

Our staff are available throughout the camp to assist & help your staff make decisions in regards to safety.

Gear Equipment – All supplied – We have full hiking gear available to hire –

Hiking Boots / Jackets / Pants / Backpacks – River Gear Wet suits / Jackets / Helmet / Life Jackets

Certification / BOT Requirements – We are Outdoors Mark Certified and have a concession through the Department of Conservation to run the following activities: Guided Walks / Tongariro Alpine Crossing / Mountaineering Winter / Kayaking / Caving
